Dr. Malige is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon who completed his fellowship at the prestigious Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles under the tutelage of the world-renowned Neal El Attrache. He has extensive training and experience in hip arthroscopy, hip arthroplasty, anatomic ACL reconstructions using multiple graft types, meniscal surgery, rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability surgery, shoulder arthroplasty, and throwing elbow injuries. He also specializes in cartilage restoration, knee multi-ligament reconstruction, syndesmotic injuries, fractures, and other surgeries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle. Finally, he has extensive experience in orthobiolgics, specifically platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections for various pathologies and body parts.
Dr. Malige strives to help athletes of all types and competition levels return to sport. He has served as an assistant team physician at the professional level (Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Galaxy, and the Anaheim Ducks), collegiate level (Pepperdine Waves), and the high school level (numerous high schools across the Lehigh Valley). He is also an extensive researcher, publishing over 50 papers and book chapters, focusing on shoulder arthroplasty, throwing elbow, ACL reconstruction, and biologic treatments. He has also given lectures and presentations at numerous national orthopaedic conferences.
